  Sit upright with your back supported and feet flat on the ground. Do not cross your legs.

  Place your arm on a table, palm facing up, at heart level and well supported.

  Wrap the cuff snugly around your bare upper arm at heart level and well. Avoid placing it over clothing.

  Ensure the air tube runs along the inner side of your arm, aligned with the middle finger.

  Press the start button. Remain still and silent until the reading finishes.

  Write down the reading and time.
